Retail Supervisor – Full Time/ Temporary

Brooke & Shoals is an award-winning boutique fragrance brand based in County Wicklow with a retail store in Greystones and an office / manufacturing base in Kilcoole.

We are so excited to be part of the Clarendon Collective Pop-up shop based on Clarendon St, Dublin 2. This is a concept design store where 7 female-founded Irish brands have come together to give customers a unique shopping experience this Christmas. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a number of award-winning Irish brands.

The role is full-time. Hours are 9:30am-6pm Monday to Friday. 

Immediate start required.

Hourly rate of €18, paid weekly.

Contract end-date: 31st of December 2023.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the pop-up store, delegating employee tasks, coordinating the receiving of merchandise and resolving issues at a day-to-day level.

Main Duties:

  • Delegate tasks out to the team.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise within the store on a day-to-day basis.
  • Manage the team and manage rostering system.
  • Passionate about customer service and finding out solutions for all customer needs.
  • Serve customers and deal with them promptly and politely, answering any queries that they may have.
  • Adhere to till procedures.
  • Merchandise stock.
  • Replenish stock on display from stock room.
  • Receive, check and stock deliveries.
  • Ensure cleanliness of store fixtures and fittings when required.
  • Maintain a high level of security for stock.
  • Stock room maintained correctly.
  • Complete stock counts and audits, as necessary.
  • Observe all Health & Safety procedures and protocols.

Requirements for Role

  1. Candidates must have prior experience in similar role.
  2. Familiarity with management of staff.
  3. The ideal person should be able to demonstrate a highly organised mind-set.
  4. Have a high level of efficiency and good attention to detail.
  5. Must be friendly with a good 'can-do' attitude.
  6. Outgoing personality with a an ability to work on own initiative.
  7. Be flexible and always willing to help colleagues.

Retail Assistant – Part Time/ Temporary

The role is part-time for 3 days a week. Monday to Wednesday. 

Immediate start required.

Hourly rate of €13.50, paid weekly.

Contract end-date: 31st of December 2023.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be to deliver an exceptional customer experience by serving and selling in store.

Main Duties:

  • Create an exceptional customer experience by proactively serving our customers.
  • Always put the customer first and prioritise customer before task.
  • Deliver an inspiring shopping environment for our customers through excellent standards of product presentation and availability.
  • Sell confidently to customers using your knowledge of products and services to sell more in store.
  • Ask questions to understand the needs of the customer and actively offer personal recommendations and suggestions.
  • Actively take part in store events to achieve selling targets.
  • Create selling opportunities at all service points.
  • Understand the store business priorities and play your part to improving the store performance.
  • Follow safe and legal working practices.
  • Make every penny count by working productively and minimise losses throughout the store.
  • Deliver all key activity and operational processes within your areas of responsibility and look for opportunities to work efficiently and continuously improve.
  • Adapt and work flexibly across the store and remove support your colleagues to meet customer and business needs.
